Search and Rescue Training in Nature and Avalanche was Given to Civil Defense and Firefighting Program Students

In partnership with Çankırı AFAD and Çankırı Karatekin University Social Sciences Vocational School Civil Defense Firefighting program, the five-day Nature and Avalanche Search and Rescue and Field Navigation Training Camp was completed in the Ilgaz Yıldıztepe region. Search and rescue materials used in operations were introduced by expert AFAD personnel.
Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) Teams also supported the training given by Expert AfAD personnel under the coordination of Civil Defense and Firefighting Program Instructors and the training on working at height on the Chairlift. The training was completed by applying the theoretical training received in the field to increase the professional knowledge of the Firefighting Program students and to maximize their skills in field applications.
